Buying on-line from Belle La Vie

Whether you visit us in-store or buy from us on-line, you are a valued customer and we appreciate your business.  We want you to have a pleasant, easy shopping experience, and to be truly happy with your purchase.

We wrap all on-line purchases in tissue. Please let us know if it is a gift for someone, and we will wrap it, free of charge in our beautiful store paper.  We'll also add a gift tag with a personalised message from you (to be completed in the comments box on checkout).

 Delivery Information

Belle La Vie offers free shipping for orders over $75.00.

 For orders under $75.00, we charge a flat rate of $7.00.  For parcels over 15kg, we will contact you with the shipping cost.  Please note shipping costs may change without notice.

 Once your order is received, we generally select and pack it within a few hours to get it away the same day (if before 1pm).  However, sometimes it can takes up to two business days, particularly during busy shopping seasons. If you do have an urgent order, please contact us.

 Once picked up by the courier, you should receive an email from us letting you know your goodies have been dispatched.

 North Island deliveries (excluding rural and "remote" areas) should arrive the day after it has left our store.  South Island and rural areas usually arrive within 3 working days, but (rural especially) it can take up to 7 working days.

 We dispatch orders Monday - Friday (not public holidays)

Returns Policy

We hope you love what you’ve purchased from us, but we do understand that shopping online sometimes results in a purchase that isn't quite what you expected.

 

If you would like to return the product for a replacement, exchange or credit, please send it back to us within 14 days (you will need to pay the courier cost for this both ways - returning the product to us, and the courier costs for sending a replacement back to you.  Even if your original purchase was eligible for free shipping, it is only free for the original purchase). 

 

Provided that the product/s are in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and undamaged, we will replace, exchange or apply a store credit. Clothing must have the tags attached.  We will not accept any clothing when the tag has been taken off.

 

Sale Items

 

We do not offer replacement, exchange or credit on sale items (unless faulty)

 

Important note on shipping:  if your original purchase was over the free shipping threshold, and you would like to exchange or have a store credit issued, your replacement product is not eligible for free shipping (the free shipping was for the original purchase).  If your item was damaged, we will pay the shipping costs.

 

 Exchange credit notes/vouchers are valid for 3 months and can only be used on full price products in store (exchange vouchers or credits are not valid for on sale products or promotions).

 

 

 

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

 

Our Belle La Vie team take great care in wrapping and checking your purchases to ensure our high standards are being met.  However, we know that sometimes things can go wrong.  If you do receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us immediately.

 

Please retain the damaged product and its packaging as we may need proof to claim the cost of the item and postage from the shipping company.

 

We will ask you to send the package back to us or send a photo (once assessed, we will refund the shipping costs to you) and assess the fault and either replace, repair or refund you. Should the replacement item be out of stock we will either offer a store credit, an exchange for another item, or a refund.

 

Return costs are at the expense of the customer and shipping costs will not be refunded (except in the case of damaged or where we have made an error).

 

If your product breaks or deteriorates in an unreasonable time (taken into consideration the product and it's value) through reasonable use, we will liaise with our suppliers and assess.  Please note:  You need to advise us as soon as possible (directly in store or via email and photos).

Please provide a contact phone number or email address so we can contact you. Once we have received the item, we will advise you of the refund or exchange status.

 

Please ensure all items are packed securely.  Belle La Vie is not responsible for the damage or loss of an item being returned.

 

 In purchasing from Belle La Vie, you are agreeing to our returns and exchanges policy - this policy applies to in-store purchases and online purchases (and sales via telephone, email etc) 

 

Ordering Products for You

We often have customers asking for specific products that aren't in store at Belle La Vie.  We are more than happy to do this for you - we have a few catalogues in store for you to browse through.

To make this as seamless as possible, we require a 50% deposit for any items we specifically order in for you.  

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an exchange or store credit if you change your mind once the product arrives, so please choose carefully.  Of course if the product is damaged or faulty, we will seek a replacement for you.

 Currency and payment

All prices displayed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 15%.

You can pay by internet banking direct credit (New Zealand Only) or by Visa or Mastercard through PayPal powered by Braintree, a secure on-line payment gateway (your credit card details are never supplied to Belle La Vie).

As soon as payment arrives in our bank account, we will send your parcel.  Please note, it can take a couple of days for payment to show.

Privacy and Security

Your privacy is important to us, so we guarantee that your personal information will not be shared with any third parties, unless we are required to by law.

When you provide us with your personal information to complete a transaction or create a customer login, we will only collect it and use it for that specific reason.

If you send us an e-mail we will store your e-mail address and the contents of the e-mail. This information will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it.

If personal information has been collected other reasons, such as promotional (ie: competitions) or marketing reasons, we will ask for your consent.  If you have consented, we may send your emails about promotions, new products etc.  You can opt out of receiving this information at any time by emailing us at vikki@bellelavie.co.nz

Lust Holdings Ltd T/A Belle La Vie will keep copies of sales invoices and other records such as returns and exchanges to meet our accounting and tax obligations under New Zealand law.

Your on-line security is our priority and we take it very seriously.  Our store is hosted on Big Commerce, an online e-commerce platform designed for selling products and services.   

We use a secure Hosted Payment for secure payment. Your credit card details are never recorded or stored on our website and are processed securely while completing your purchase.
